Our Scholarship Programme

Thank you very much for your interest in the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. We are pleased that you have turned to us in your search for a scholarship.

Our Scholarship Programme is open to foreign students and postgraduates at German universities if applicants qualify according to our scholarship requirements. All applicants are subject to a preliminary selection process under which the applicants' qualifications are checked and the chance for a successful application is assessed carefully.

We would very much like to assist you with your request for a scholarship, but find ourselves unable to support you as you do not meet our minimum entry requirements at this stage, namely:

  • an acceptance from a German university for a postgraduate course or for a Ph.D. programme,
  • and the ability to communicate fluently in German, both orally and in written format.

We do, however, wish you every success with your studies and invite you to contact us again once the above two requirements are fulfilled. We can then provide you with more detailed information on our selection process and on further requirements for a successful application to our Scholarship Programme.
